Long time, no speak.
After a little hiatus, I’m so excited to officially bring Janellemarie.org back to life. This space has always been my personal corner of the internet—a lifestyle blog where I share my favorite finds, everyday tips, and the brands that make life feel a little more elevated.
If you’re new here, welcome. My name is Janelle Marie, and I first started this blog back in high school as a creative outlet to share all the things I’d normally be chatting about with my girlfriends—fashion, beauty, home finds, recipes, and everyday lifestyle inspiration. Very Gen Z of me, right?
I continued writing throughout my four years of undergrad, but when COVID-19 shifted the world, life took a different turn. Shortly after graduating, I started my post-grad career as a Buyer at a major U.S. retailer, where employees weren’t allowed to maintain a public blogger or influencer presence. During that time, I stepped away from the blog—but I never stopped loving the world of content, brands, and trends.
Now that I’m back, I’m excited to bring a fresh perspective to the blog—combining my Gen Z point of view with real industry insights from my work in retail and buying.
